Meet the research team

Our work spans social learning mechanisms, belief formation, collective intelligence, content-moderation fairness, and human–AI collaboration, with a recurring interest in the bidirectional dynamics between individual and collective behavior and in cross-cultural comparative designs.

Work from the lab and its collaborators has appeared in ACM/IEEE/AAAI/ACL venues including ASONAM, EMNLP, TOCHI, ICWSM, CSCW, WebConf, and BSN.

Alumni and Affiliated Researchers:

  • Lin, J '25 (MA - MAPSS) - PhD student in Sociology, Washington University in St. Louis

Students & collaborators

Students typically work one-on-one with the PI on a focused thesis or research project. If you’re an undergraduate or master’s student interested in research on collective behavior using experimental designs, the lab would be glad to hear from you. See Join the Lab for what to send and when.
